John Harris - Founder
John Harris was admitted in 1966 and became a partner of the firm, Keith M James & John Harris Solicitors in 1968, who were later appointed as the Principal Solicitors for Metropolitan Building Society – the largest Building Society in the state, and later known as Metway Bank and Suncorp. John at that time became a Senior Partner in McCullough Robertson Lawyers, which were at the time part of international firm of Minter Ellison Lawyers. Later in his career John became a sole practitioner and practised from his Brisbane CBD and Spring Hill premises for several years to further his involvement in community interests.
Vick Naidu LLB, BEnvSc, GradDip LP, LLM - Principal Solicitor
Vick has worked as a commercial property solicitor for more an 10 years. Vick also worked for a leading Brisbane Queen's Counsel before his admission as a solicitor. Prior to commencing his legal career Vick worked for a Brisbane biotechnology company in scientific and medical diagnostics field.
Areas of Specialisation
Vick added to his legal qualifications a Master of Laws degree in the year 2002. The major focus of his Masters studies was in the areas of commercial law and alternative dispute resolution. By completing his Masters degree, Vick is able to provide clients with cutting edge knowledge of commercial and business related transactions and resolve disputes if encountered, taking into account the commercial realities.
Vick's major areas of interest are in business mergers and acquisitions, property development, intellectual property and trades marks, asset management, estate and succession planning and litigation.
